J v N
A claim for injuries and losses sustained as a result of dental negligence. Our client developed problems as a result of a poorly fitted dental bridge. As a consequence of the bridge our client lost 5 teeth and required substantial restorative treatment. We secured a settlement of £36,500 which included monies to pay for the restorative dental treatment.
M v D and W
A claim for injuries and losses sustained as a result of dental negligence. Our client developed problems as a result of failure to diagnose early signs of infection. We alleged that had the infection been identified earlier our client would have undergone successful root canal therapy thus avoiding the need to extract a number of teeth. We secured a settlement of £15,000 which included monies to pay for restorative dental treatment.
M v H
Our client discovered that root canal therapy which had been undertaken approximately 6 years previously had not been properly completed. The tooth subsequently required extraction. We traced the dentist responsible and recovered £4500 which included monies to pay for a dental implant which was now required.
L v M
Whilst undergoing veneer treatment on a front tooth an additional adjacent tooth was treated without consent. Our client brought a claim on the basis that a tooth had been veneered without consent and additionally that the veneer preparations were excessively destructive of sound tooth tissue and that the finished veneers were bulky and poorly finished. We secured a settlement of £15,000 which included monies to pay for restorative dental treatment.
